Dylan Wood joined Ray & Wood in 1996. Mr. Wood is the Firm’s lead delinquent tax collections attorney. Mr. Wood began working for the firm as a high school student in 1986 allowing him to become familiar with all areas of the firm’s practice. After graduation from college, Mr. Wood worked full time as a litigation assistant and collector for the firm’s Guaranteed Student Loan department until he began law school. Since licensure with the State Bar of Texas in 1996, Mr. Wood has primarily practiced ad valorem property litigation. He supervises the Firm’s delinquent tax collections practice and also represents appraisal districts throughout the state. His knowledge and experience in both delinquent tax collection law and appraisal district litigation is somewhat of a rarity in the field and is a unique advantage to his clients. He has also spoken at statewide and local conferences on appraisal district and tax office matters.
