Mr. Rogers practice focuses primarily on business and commercial litigation involving complex business transactions, contractual disputes, fiduciary obligations, employment and wage claim disputes, business torts, creditors rights and bankruptcy issues. Mr. Rogers also devotes a large portion of his practice to the construction industry, where he represents general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and surety companies and government agencies in actions involving contractual disputes, construction defects, mechanics and materialmens liens, Miller Act bond claims and other related matters.
He graduated from Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Economics and a minor in Finance in 2005. While at Oklahoma State, Mr. Rogers was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity, Economics Society, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Fraternity.
Mr. Rogers received his Juris Doctorwith honorfrom the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2008. While in law school, he was an Editor for theTulsa Law Review. Mr. Rogers was also a member of thePhi Delta Phi Honor Legal Honor Fraternity, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Fraternity and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for outstanding achievement in the study of Constitutional Law II.
Mr. Rogers currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Bar Association Young Lawyers Division representing District 6. He also serves on the Communications committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association and was recently selected to participate in the Oklahoma Bar Associations Leadership Academy for 2011-2012. Additionally, Mr. Rogers is a fellow of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation and provides pro bono service to the Oklahoma Lawyers for Americas Heroes program and the Disaster Relief Committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
As a member of member of the Tulsa County Bar Association, Mr. Rogers currently serves as Chair of its Public Relations Committee (2011-2012). Mr. Rogers is the immediate past Chair of Young Lawyers Division of the Tulsa County Bar Association and has served on its executive committee since 2008. He was named the Tulsa County Bar Associations Outstanding Young Lawyer for 2010-2011 and received the Presidents Award for Distinguished Service Award for 2010-2011. He also serves on the Tulsa County Bar Foundations Steering Committee for its capital campaign and is an associate in the Council Oak/Johnson-Sontag Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
In addition to his legal activities, Mr. Rogers serves on the Board of Directors of the Tulsa Chapter of the Oklahoma State Alumni Association, and The Collaboratorium. He also is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., Oklahoma Builders Chapter, Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma and the American Subcontractors Association, Inc. of Oklahoma.
